To prevent other users from seeing what websites you have previously visited with your Firefox browser, you can clear your browsing history. However, since the history feature usefully allows you to find previously viewed websites, you may not want to clear the entire history. Instead, you can search your history for URLs and titles that contain certain keywords. You can then delete only the history entries that contain those keywords.
Instructions
1. Open Firefox.
2. Click "History" in the top menu bar, and select "Show All History." If you cannot see the top menu bar, press the "Alt" key. Alternatively, you can press "Ctrl-Shift-H" to bring up your history.
3. Enter a keyword in the search field of the History "Library." Results are displayed as you type. To further narrow down the results, add a space and another keyword. This limits results to URLs and titles that contain both keywords.
4. Click any result, or press "Ctrl-A" to select all results.
5. Right-click any highlighted result and select "Delete This Page" to remove all history entries containing those keywords.
