Google Adwords has a free keyword research tool that will show you local and global keyword searches.
Millions of people are searching for millions of keywords or phrases every day around the globe. If you distribute or sell certain products that people want, then it only makes sense to know what keywords people are searching for in order to place your product in front of the people who are looking for it. Google Adwords has a free keyword research tool that will show you local and global keyword searches on the Internet.
Instructions
1. Visit google.com (see "Resources") to access the free keyword tool.
2. In the "Find keywords" box, enter a keyword or phrase, and click search. (Example: Type "internet marketing" and a list of related keyword searches performed will display.) Global and local search results appear, which shows how many people in your local area, and globally, searched for that specific keyword.
3. You have the option of downloading the search results, sorting, saving and more. There are many options to choose from when organizing your research data.
