Put Screws & Anchors Into Sheet Rock

SHEETROCK is just one brand of gypsum-based drywall. While this material is relatively inexpensive and makes up the interior walls of most homes, it is not particularly sturdy and cannot hold the weight of large objects like mirrors or heavy picture frames. Any time you put a screw into Sheetrock, you should first place a plastic anchor to ensure the screw stays in place.
