Write Searchable Keywords And Key Phrases Inside A Blog Publish

Keywords drive the internet. People find your articles not just by the topic, which is rarely there, but in the actual keyword phrases within it. Sometimes a title can be a keyword phrase itself. “Why Obama will win the presidency” as a title is a strong one, but not why you think. This article offers a means of developing SEO related articles for blogs, the new wave of the internet.

Instructions

1. Start with the Title:We were discussing titles, so that is the first step. Writing “Is Bush Crazy” will rarely get you many hits. But using “The Successes and Failures of the Bush Presidency” as your title might. The trick in titling is to pick out what phrases internet searchers will use. As a blogger, you will see what works and what doesn’t by the amount of traffic you get in. Maybe "Is Bush Crazy" will work; you have the power to find out.

2. Focus on the Keyword Phrase. You need more than just a title to write a complete SEO blog post—you need plenty of other phrases. Again, consider what phrases people would search for. “Who will be president, Obama or McCain?” Is better than “Who will be president,” because it uses the proper names of two top politicians. This means, focus directly on searchable phrases. This will work better than just adding in a dozen or more single words like “Clinton” or “Bush.” Internet searchers tend to search with phrases instead of just keywords. Try it. If you search a single, obvious name, how many pages of links comes up? Then try it with a complete phrase, and you will likely see the phrase gets the internet searcher to your page faster than anything else.

3. Use the Keyword Phrase 4-6 Times: For your blog post, consider that it’s often shorter than a feature article. Blog posts of more than 600 words tend to get skimmed over, so don’t waste your time—break up your posts. You could use a separate keyword phrase in each separate post. This does not mean repeating “Bush” or “Clinton” in your post, as we have been discussing, but finding some of the more popular searched phrases. “Will Clinton be president?” is a good one. You can use some tricks to get the 4-6 phrases in. If you spread it out there won’t be a problem. Try to avoid having the same exact phrase more than twice in a paragraph. You could use it as a lead in one paragraph, and as the last sentence of another.

4. :Lastly, find a site to gage all the stats you are getting in. I use Statscounter, but there are dozens of reliable hit counters you can use on your blog. Find out which posts get you the most hits. If the political ones got none, but the personal story of drug addiction did, you know what to write next. Finding the keywords for the next article is rather simple. Not every blog post has to be very original or different, as long as it provides a unique take it’s good. On the other hand, unless you have a popular blog most readers won’t care to read every post anyways, so using the same keyword phrase won’t be a problem. But, for maximum readers, try to think up unique phrases popular on search engines. It will pay off.
