Kinds Of Silicone Adhesive

Silicone adhesives are used to protect and repair a variety of indoor and outdoor household projects.

Silicone adhesives bond and seal the spaces between surfaces like tiles and walls, while preventing environmental elements such as water and air from penetrating and damaging building materials. An assortment of adhesive sealants are available, each designed to meet the particular requirements of specific materials and environmental climates. A quick look at the label can generally tell which one is the right adhesive sealant for any given task.

Non-Paintable Clear Indoor/Outdoor Silicone Adhesive Sealant

Clear silicone adhesive is completely silicone based, making it permanently waterproof, shrink and crack proof, flexible and non-paintable. It adheres to most wood, plaster, drywall, glass, brick, concrete, plastic and metal surfaces, and is ideal for sealing indoor and outdoor household building materials like windows, doors, sidings, molding and baseboards.

Non-Paintable Colored Indoor Silicone Adhesive Sealant

Colored silicone adhesive comes in assorted colors, is mold-free, shrink and crack proof, permanently waterproof and flexible. It adheres to most metal, glass, porcelain and plastic surfaces. Colored silicone adhesive dries in about 30 minutes, and is ideal for use in kitchens and bathrooms and as a sealant for indoor areas like showers, bathtubs and sinks.

Non-Paintable Colored Outdoor Silicone Adhesive Sealant

Non-paintable, colored outdoor silicone adhesive comes in a variety of colors, is shrink and crack proof, flexible, sun and freeze proof, and is permanently waterproof. It adheres to most wood, metal, vinyl siding, masonry, brick, concrete, drywall/plaster, glass and plastic surfaces. This adhesive is ideal for sealing windows, doors, siding, trim, molding, baseboards, vents, around wires/pipes and attic or basement type applications.

Paintable Silicone Adhesive Sealant

Paintable silicone adhesive sealant comes in clear, white and an assortment of paintable color options. It has many of the same benefits as regular silicone-based adhesives, including being waterproof, flexible and shrink proof, but without the painting limitations. This type of silicone adheres to most indoor and outdoor surfaces such as concrete, mortar, stone, brick, masonry and wood. It is ideal for sealing windows, doors, tubs, showers, sinks, backsplashes, counter tops, toilets, fixtures and repairing loose tiles.

Paintable Siliconized Latex Adhesive Sealant

Siliconized latex adhesive sealant is easier to apply than regular silicon, but has similar durability features. It comes in regular and sanded textures and colors that mimic grout, making it ideal to repair cracked or worn grout joints and seal spaces around interior surfaces like sinks, tubs, showers, countertops and ceramic tile floors.
