Hang Metal Stars

Metal stars
are attractive, rustic decorations that you can hang in any room of your home to add a touch of style to your walls. They come in various sizes, but the most popular size are the medium metal stars, which are usually anywhere from 6 to 12 inches in length. Try to invest in metal stars that are made out of tin, as they are much lighter and won't require any drills or extra tools to hang.

Instructions

1. Decide where you'd like to hang the metal star. Mark the exact spot on the wall with a pencil, using a stepping stool if necessary.

2. Use a hammer to pound a large nail into the wall on the pencil-marked spot. Make sure that the nail is almost completely driven into the wall but sticks out enough for the hook on the back of the star to catch when you hang it.

3. Latch the metal hook or hoop, located on the back of the star, over the nail to hang it. Adjust the star with your hands so that it looks even. Double check by using a ruler to ensure the bottom two legs of the star are evenly aligned.
