Use Google Adwords Keyword Tool to Increase Income

Google, from the very start, has retained all of the search queries that users have searched for and this data is invaluable when determining what keywords to use.
The AdWords Keyword Tool allows you to search this data and compare it to their advertising clients. When a business advertises through Google AdWords, they pay "per click" which can very from $ .05 to $ 10.00 based on the search (keyword) that business advertises on.
So what does this mean for you? Google AdWords Keyword Tool, if used correctly, shows you what keywords you should use based on cost-per-click, traffic, and subject relevance.

1. Visit Google AdWords Keywood Tool Website
Go to the Google AdWords Keyword Tool website (Link is under "Additional Resources" at the bottom of this article).
2. Enter A Word or Phrase
Type in a word or phrase that you are going to write about in your article/publication. For example, if you are writing about Google's GMail, you may want to put in Gmail or Google Email.
You will need to type in a anti-bot code for the first initial search, but all searches after that it will not be necessary.
3. Add The "Estimated Avg. CPC" Column
Once the results are compiled, it is important that you add a column that is hidden by default. You will need to do this each time you revisit the Google AdWords Keyword Tool website.
Click the drop down box (See Picture) that says "Show/Hide Columns" and select: "Estimated Avg. CPC" ... This column will tell you how much Google's advertisers have to pay for advertising on searches using those respective keywords.
4. Change "Broad" to "Exact"
Click on the drop-down box that is currently set to "broad" and select "exact" (See Picture). This gives you a list of the "EXACT" keywords that Google users type in when they search.
5. Analyze the Data and Decide
Double click the "Estimated Avg. CPC" column heading (this sorts the column in ascending order) and begin analyzing the data.
It is recommended that you only use AdWords keywords that have a high "Estimated Avg. CPC", at least 1,000 local searches, and are relevant to your article/publication.
Once you find a word that meets that criteria, you should click the "Add Exact" to add it to your list. After adding five or so keywords, you can export that list for future use.
