Select A Hot Keyword For Any Niche Blog

If you want to make money with a niche blog, the first and most important step is to choose a hot keyword or keyword phrase. This will ensure that many people are interested in your topic from the start. Finding the right keywords simply takes a bit of research, using Google to help you along the way.

Instructions

1. Keep track of trends in Internet marketing and your chosen topic of interest. The hot keyword phrase you choose should be in a subject that you are interested in and have a good amount of knowledge about. Unless you really enjoy extensive research, this will make it easier for you to write a lot of informative blog posts.

2. Choose a general keyword or keyword phrase to build your niche blog around. Enter this term in a keyword research tool, such as Google Adwords tool or Wordtracker. These tools will give you a list of other keyword phrases that pertain to your original word or term, as well as listing the monthly or daily average searches for that term.

3. List the keyword phrases with the most searches per month and insert them into the search bar on Google and other major search engines. The ideal hot keyword phrase should have at least 500 searches per month and, at most, 100,000 search results. The more searches and the fewer competitors, the better.
