Lift A Mattress On Cinder Blocks

If you live in a small space, storage room can be hard to come by. However, extra storage space is available if you look for it. Most beds take up space without leaving much room underneath for storage. However, cinder blocks allow you to elevate a bed, making room beneath. You can lift your bed 1 to 2 feet from the ground, enough space to store many different sizes of containers.


Instructions


1. Measure the length and width of your bed.


2. Move your bed from the area and set the cinder blocks where the ends of the bed frame usually are.


3. Remove the mattress and box spring from your bed frame and set the frame on the cinder blocks. Make sure each leg of the frame is in the center of a cinder block so it doesn't slip off.


4. Place the box spring on your bed frame and place the mattress on top of your box spring.
